Vector VPS 01
A compact KVM Linux configuration for a small web service, command-line tools or a learning environment: 2 vCPUs, 1 GB of DDR4 memory and 30 GB of SSD storage.
A Linux foundation for applications, private services and everyday server work. Choose the resources and operating system your project needs, with every configuration located in Switzerland.
A compact KVM Linux configuration for a small web service, command-line tools or a learning environment: 2 vCPUs, 1 GB of DDR4 memory and 30 GB of SSD storage.
Four vCPUs and 2 GB of DDR4 memory provide a modest Linux workspace for an API, development utilities or scheduled tasks, with 45 GB of SSD storage and a 3 TB traffic allowance.
A balanced starting point for several lightweight Linux services. This configuration combines 6 vCPUs, 4 GB of DDR4 memory and a 60 GB SSD, with a 200 Mbps port.
Move to 8 vCPUs and 6 GB of DDR4 memory for a busier application stack or a larger development environment. An 80 GB SSD and 7 TB traffic allowance round out the configuration.
A Linux configuration with 10 vCPUs, 8 GB of DDR4 memory and 100 GB of SSD storage for projects that need more room for processes, application files and working data.
The largest Vector memory allocation pairs 16 GB of DDR4 with 10 vCPUs and a 150 GB SSD. Its 400 Mbps port and 12 TB traffic allowance suit a broader mix of Linux services.
Compare the listed specifications and base prices. Final availability, delivery and applicable tax are confirmed on your quote. Illustrations are conceptual.
Understand what makes this service family useful.
KVM virtualization gives your project a separate operating system. Build the application stack, users and access rules around the way you work.
Compare CPU, DDR4 memory and SSD capacity across the range. Add cores, memory or disk space when your configuration needs a different balance.
Select from the Linux images in the configurator, then choose an optional hosting panel or deployment platform suited to your application.
Additional IPv4 addresses, VNC, management and backup retention are individual choices. Review their recurring cost before adding the configuration to your order.
Run a compact application stack with a database, reverse proxy and workers sized to your actual traffic.
Keep dashboards, internal utilities or collaboration tools in a Swiss environment with your own access controls.
Give a project a separate test environment before making changes to a production deployment.
Memory pressure, CPU use and growing data are different constraints. Select enough RAM for the application and its database, leave disk space for updates and logs, and compare the included traffic with your expected usage. The plan table keeps these resources visible side by side.
A minimal Linux image is a good foundation when you want to manage the software directly. The configurator also includes hosting and deployment tools for projects that benefit from a panel. Choose only the software and management level you intend to use; optional licences remain separate from the server resources.
All Vector configurations in this catalogue are Swiss. The order flow is designed without documentary KYC, so choosing a server does not require sending a passport or identity card. Secure administration, encrypted application traffic and independent backups remain part of your own deployment plan.
The KVM plans describe the virtual machine; administration is a separate practical requirement. Confirm root credentials, the initial IPv4 allocation and a recovery route before deployment. Layer 3–4 protection is listed in the base specifications, with an advanced upgrade selected separately. Custom installation media, disk encryption and later reinstalls require an agreed installation and recovery procedure.
Available choices depend on the selected configuration. See included selections and option prices in the configurator.
Specific answers for this service family.
Vector lists SSD storage; Pulse lists NVMe storage. Compare the complete CPU, RAM, storage and network configuration rather than choosing on the disk label alone.
Yes. The operating-system selector shows the images available for this family. Check your application's support requirements and choose a maintained release before deployment.
They are configurable options. Check the selected management level and backup retention in your order summary; a default selection may contain neither.
Port speed and traffic allowance are separate characteristics. Check both the base plan and the selected options; increasing speed does not by itself change the traffic allowance.
The SwissOctet order flow is designed without documentary KYC. Crypto payments still create a public transaction trail, and the absence of ID collection does not imply absolute anonymity.
Vector is intended for customer-managed Linux workloads. Confirm full root access and the credential handover before delivery, then take responsibility for package updates, application installation and access rules.
The base plans list Layer 3–4 network protection. The paid advanced choice is separate; leaving that upgrade unselected does not remove the listed baseline. Application-layer security remains a deployment responsibility.
Additional IPv4 addresses are configurable. Confirm the initial dedicated address and any IPv6 allocation with the operator; the current plan table does not specify them.
Prepare the image, boot requirements and key-recovery method for operator review. Neither custom ISO installation nor a particular disk-encryption setup is confirmed by simply selecting a KVM plan.
The catalogue lets you compare larger resources now. For an existing server, confirm the upgrade or reinstall procedure, compatibility, downtime and backup requirements before making a change.
Turn an application idea into a useful resource budget, then compare CPU, memory, storage and transfer together.
